Reports indicate that Gonzalo Higuain and his brother Nicolas, are currently in Milan to discuss a move to AC Milan, according to LA Gazetta dello Sport.
Negotiations with Milan’s new technical director Leonardo are expected to continue this week, and Higuain was due to land in Milan on Sunday evening with his agent to continue discussions.
Juve’s €60 million demands are still a bit out of reach for Milan, and Chelsea is also reportedly in play as well.
Blues’ boss Maurizio Sarri spoke of some of the rumors on Sunday, saying he is happy with the forwards he has on the team.
“I’m expecting to see the best of [Alvaro] Morata,” Sarri said after Chelsea defeated Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup in Nice. “He moved well compared to our game in Australia and this makes me very optimistic.”
“Coaches always want the best players, but these best players have also got to have strong motivation to stay,” Sarri continued. “We all hope that we manage to keep him, and that he stays with the right motivation.”
