Carlos Carvalhal Set To Leave Swansea, Chris Coleman Poised To Replace Him

Carlos Carvalhal is set to depart from Swansea after the final game of the Premier League season on Sunday, but it appears that former Wales boss Chris Coleman will be replacing him at his post, according to ESPN FC.

Swansea are on the verge of relegation from the Premier League and have a very difficult, and improbable, path ahead of them if they want to survive.

In order to accomplish the feat, Swansea must beat Stoke and hope Southampton lose against Manchester City with a 10-goal swing on the final day of the season, creating an unlikely scenario.

Carvalhal signed a deal until the end of the season with the option of an extension but the club is opting to go in a different direction, with signs pointing to Coleman, who is now available after leaving Sunderland last month.
