Manchester United Monitoring Marcus Rashford Injury

Manchester United is monitoring the muscle injury Marcus Rashford endured during the match victory over Huddersfield on Saturday, according to ESPN FC.

Rashford, 20, will be assessed this week after feeling a strain at the top of his left leg during his 20-minute appearance.

Rashford has been a part of the matchday squad for all of United’s 38 games this season, failing to feature in only 1.

United will be without Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic against Newcastle and Marouane Fellaini has been ruled out for two months after undergoing knee surgery on Saturday.

On the bright side, Daley Blind is close to returning after missing the last five games with an ankle ligament problem.

United are currently 13 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City
