Loris Karius says nobody at Liverpool gave him fair warning, or spoke to him at all, before the club paid £56 million for goalkeeper Alisson, in what is the biggest-ever transfer fee for a goalkeeper, and that it now leaves his future at Anfield up in the air.
Karius spoke about the current goalkeeping situation in Liverpool with the German media on Sunday.
“Of course, that’s not ideal for me, but at the moment I cannot say much more about that” Karius said (h/t ESPN FC). “Nobody spoke to me beforehand.”
When asked about his future, Karius expressed uncertainty.
“I do not know at the moment, I cannot say what I’m doing right now, there’s still some time left.”
